There is a rising star in the world of enka, a popular form of home-grown Japanese crooning. And his name is Jero. He's from Pittsburgh and is kind of a big deal. His grandmother is Japanese and taught him to love this kind of singing. I've also come to like it a lot since coming here. (This is the song on the video from Kappa-tei, incidentally.)
It's strange to see a guy dressed like he just walked off the streets of pittsburgh singing like that...i kinda like it though
