I'm not certain what "call a stitch" means, but it's funny you have a picture of him for your post upon returning to the states... because I really associate him with Japan.
I remember that movie coming out, but I guess I figured it flopped because I never really heard of it again until I came here to find Stitch was nearly as popular as any other Disney character. Funny what happens to tickle different people... you know, culturally.
