Kirishima

On Saturday, I went to Kirishima with a teacher from one of my elementary teachers, Mr. Takei.  We hit up the sulphur springs (the prefecture is just really big on hot springs), went miniature golfing, and stopped at a dairy farm--not things I do everyday.  Good times!  Also, it was the one nice day in a string of cold, rainy days.  Je suis allé à Kirishima avec le professeur d'une de mes classes.  On est allé à une source chaude (Kirishima est connu pour ses sources d'eau), ainsi qu'une ferme et un parcours de minigolf.

Also, the pub quiz in Kagoshima was a blast.  Found the "Cave Where Saigo hid," too!

And we all made our way to the shredded meat onigiri stand (the late-night, Kagoshima equivalent of the burrito cart).  Gabe was a happy camper.

Also, happy birthday, Thamer!  And to Tim as well, though I don't know if he reads this.
