Xhosa

I think that if I could, I would just learn languages all day.  I'm on a Xhosa kick at the moment.  Call me a reverse-exoticist, but I especially like watching Americans (and especially ones with Southern accents) speak this incredible language.  Knowing Arabic (to some extent), it's rare to come across a language with even weirder phonology.

Also, a random clip from a Japanese TV show I was watching--weird premise, but essentially these women go back and forth saying words that begin with the same syllable, then one of them loses and has to strike a pose and say something bookish, and they switch an article of clothing.

  1. You get waaay better channels than me.

But that might be why I've not been paid a visit by the NHK man.
