I bought a second-hand guitar on Saturday in Kanoya at a place called Second Street. Gabe (the other English teacher in my town) taught me a few chords. I'm practicing when I can, but it turns out that playing the guitar is fraught (fretted?) with pain followed by decreased sensation in your fingertips. Also it sounded a bit bellowy so I stuffed a towel inside.

J'ai acheté une guitarre samedi à Kanoya (la grande ville la plus proche à Kimotsuki). L'autre prof d'anglais dans la ville, Gabe, m'a montré comment jouer quelques accords. Ça fait mal aux doigts ! Le son beuglait un peu alors j'ai mis une serviette dedans. (Corrigé. Désolé, ça faisait tard et lorsque j'ai sommeil mon français est le premier à le montrer!)

UPDATE: I swear this was not premeditated. (I even got a Yamaha, too.)
