Albums

Some vinyl albums I ordered came this week (in a 20 gallon postal bag that I got to keep!). One of them was Little Queen by Heart, which the reseller I bought it from had mysteriously procured from Brazil. It's not a great album, but if ever a cover made up for what's inside . . .

They even have a goat! Besides the Heart, I got Room on Fire (Strokes), Figure 8 (Elliot Smith), and the Beatles' Sgt. Pepper's and Abbey Road. Gabe, the English teacher in the next town over, found this gem on Youtube:

The last 40 seconds (and the very end in particular) are really fun--fans react to the Beatles leaving Japan after their 1966 visit. Check out the "You Will Return" sign around 2:52!

Ils ont même trouvé une chèvre ! En plus j'ai acheté Room on Fire des Strokes, Figure 8 de Elliot Smith, et Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band et Abbey Road des Beatles. Gabe, le prof d'anglais de la ville voisine (内之浦 ; "Uchinoura") à trouvé ce vidéo sur Youtube qui s'agit de l'emportement des fans des Beatles lors de leur séjour à Tokyo en 1966.
