Recapture

Tae, the anteater that escaped from Sunshine Aquarium, Tokyo on Friday, has been recaptured.  She was beneath the floorboards . . . in the penguin exhibit (didn't we all see that coming?).  She was lured to a trap which aquarium workers had baited with her favorite food, avocado.

Not so fast.

She reportedly fell asleep immediately after being recaptured, "exhausted after three days on the lam," according to one supervisor--though the Asahi News opined that it was the supervisor, in fact, who looked still more tired.

  1. Hi Haitham,
I really like your blog too. The escaped anteater was especially cool.
It's neat to read about other people who've picked up and changed countries. Not just vacation-travel, but living someplace strange and getting to know it. I have a friend who went to Japan to teach english for a year, and she hated it there. It seems things are working out better for you.

For my own blogs, I keep two - one for long-winded stuff, while the pink rabbit one is targeted to my young neices.

    Keep up the interesting writing!
And thanks for my very first comment!
