Marketing

This a leading coffee creamer in Japan.

Also, related rather more than tangentially to the subject of marketing, I came across the script to a hilarious comedy sketch (maybe from the Daily Show or SNL?). It's supposed to be a meeting between Sarah Palin and Hamid Karzai on the sidelines of the opening of the U.N. General Assembly. In the skit, I guess the journalists are ushered out of the room just as the meeting starts, because this is all they hear:

With Karzai, Palin made a quick connection as a parent.

While being photographed, they could be overheard discussing the Afghan leader's son, who was born in January 2007.

"What's his name?" Palin asked.

"Mirwais," Karzai said. "Mirwais, which means the light of the house."

"Oh, nice," said Palin, who was seen patting her heart and smiling.

Pretty far-fetched, I know. But they photoshopped a pretty darn convincing pic!

Une farce épouvantable--autant convoquer un de mes élèves pour une rencontre avec Karzaï. (Je me doute qu'il y a pas mal de collégiens qui sont mieux informé que Palin.)

  1. Oooh, that looks tasty. As the Japanese are not really known for their coffee, would adding this Creap to it be an improvement? Or if you stir too fast does it risk explosion?
